Our Midwifery Program

We provide accessible, responsive, and sustainable community-based midwifery education.

Designed to be completed in three years, our Midwifery Education program will:

  • Seek national accreditation

  • Include hybrid didactic learning along with apprenticeships

  • Prepare students to manage the business dimensions of their work

  • Meet the workforce demand for more midwives, especially those of color and those from marginalized communities

  • Address knowledge gaps within the current landscape of midwifery education

  • Become a source for continuing education for the greater birth work community

Completion of our program allows graduates to sit for a national exam to become Certified Professional Midwives and licensed professionals in their state.

If you are interested in applying, please review our admissions criteria in the application packet.
